Kirkpatrick is a former national president of the American Society for Training and Development and regularly conducts evaluation workshops for ASTD and other organizations in both the private and public sectors. He has written several books, including How to Train and Develop Supervisors, How to Manage Change, How to Improve Performance Through Appraisal and Coaching, and Evaluating Training Programs: The Four Levels.
