David Cooperrider

David L. Cooperrider is professor and chair of the Organizational Behavior Department and faculty director of the Fowler Center for Business as an Agent of World Benefit at the Weatherhead School of Management. He is the previous president of the Academy of Management s organization development division. Cooperrider has taught at institutions such as Harvard, Stanford, and MIT and has been a consultant and advisor to organizations including Boeing, McKinsey, Verizon, and others. He introduced the concept of Appreciative Inquiry in 1987 and has helped institutions all over the world create a revolution in positive leadership and change. He is the author or coauthor of fifteen books, including Appreciative Inquiry and Appreciative Inquiry Handbook.
