Sivasailam “Thiagi” Thiagarajan, PhD, is currently resident mad scientist at the Thiagi Group where he plays games and helps others to play. Since March 21, 1999, he has been conducting a longitudinal research study that involves designing a new learning activity every day (including weekends and holidays). As a result of this obsession, he has published several books and articles related to facilitated learning strategies. A four-time president of North American Simulation Gaming Association (NASAGA) and two-time president of the International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI), Thiagi has lived in three different countries and has worked and played in 25 others.
