Chris Argyris is the James Conant Professor of Education and Organizational Behavior Emeritus at Harvard University. He has consulted to numerous private and governmental organizations. He has received awards including 13 honorary degrees, as well as lifetime contributions awards from the Academy of Management, the American Psychological Association, and the American Society of Training & Development. His most recent books are Reasons and Rationalizations: The Limits to Organizational Knowledge (2004), Flawed Advice (2000), and On Organizational Learning (1999). He is a director-emeritus of Monitor Group.
