About the Author


Cheng Zhu

Cheng Zhu is a senior faculty member at the Center for Creative Leadership, where she trains the Leadership Development Program, the Innovation Leadership Program, and the Foundations of Leadership, and also designs and delivers custom programs that incorporate blended learning solutions to provide psychological assessments, feedback, and coaching experiences to help senior executives lead change effectively. Her areas of expertise include adult learning, cross-cultural leadership, cross-border negotiation and conflict resolution, and developmental and positive psychology. She previously worked as a research associate at Harvard Business School and as a research assistant at the John F. Kennedy School of Government’s Center for Public Leadership at Harvard. During her service as president of the Harvard Graduate Council and president of the Student Government Association for the Harvard Graduate School of Education, she twice received the Outstanding Service Award from the Harvard provost and the school’s dean. She received a BA from Beijing University and a master’s and doctorate from Harvard.
