Herbert Stansbury is chairman of the board of San Francisco Federal Savings. In 1969 he sold the Smart Chart cartoon idea to the Los Angeles Times Syndicate which distributed the cartoon to hundreds of papers. For the next fifteen years Stansbury proceeded to create six cartoons a week while maintaining his business interests as a corporate director and marketing consultant. He is in national demand as a speaker and has been hailed as the undisputed king of corporate humor. He is the author of Executive Smart Charts.
