Julie Johnson, a graduate of the Harvard Business School, is considered one of the pioneers in the field of executive coaching and has coached hundreds of senior executives in blue chip global organizations. In her work with many of the most successful women in the Fortune 500, Julie has both experienced and helped clients to confront the issues described in The Female Vision.
Prior to establishing her leadership coaching practice in 1995, Julie was Vice President of Executive Education at Merrill Lynch, Assistant VP of Human Resource Planning at General Foods, and Director of Recruiting at Vinson and Elkins. She began her career as Director of Placement at Stanford Law School.
Julie's work has been published in the Harvard Business Review and featured in the groundbreaking book, Coaching for Leadership. She has presented her ideas at the Harvard Business School, Yale School of Management, the Conference Board, and before a range of industry groups. In addition to her MBA from Harvard, Julie holds an MA in Social Psychology and Counseling from Southern Methodist University and BA from Carnegie Mellon. She is a member of the Advisory Councilfor the Coaching Coalition and also a member of the International Women's Forum.
