William E. Halal is a professor of management at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. An authority on emerging technologies, strategic management, and institutional and economic change, he has conducted research and consulting projects for General Motors, IBM, AT&T, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, MCI, NASA, the National Institutes of Health, the Federal Courts, Saudi Arabia, and the Center for Soviet-American Dialogue.
Halal has been an Air Force officer, aerospace engineer, and business manager. He serves on the advisory boards of the World Future Society and Sterling & Stone Publishers as well as several journals. He is the author of four books, including The New Management, The New Capitalism. and Internal Markets .
