Robert F. Mager

Robert F. Mager has been active in the human performance field since 1954, has held various teaching posts, and has established and managed behavioral research laboratories for two corporations. His significant contributions include his criterion-referenced instruction (CRI) methodology, currently applied world-wide through his successful workshops: Criterion-Referenced Instruction (with Peter Pipe), Instructional Module Development, and The Training Director Workshop. He is widely known for his books Preparing Instructional Objectives, Analyzing Performance Problems (with Peter Pipe), What Every Manager Should Know About Training, and others. His published novels include Killer In Our Midst, (2003), Dying for Jade (2006), The Reluctant Miracle Man (2006), and The Price of a Miracle (2007). He is also a Distinguished Contribution to Human Resource Development Award recipient.
