What if I have questions about my order?
If you have questions about an order or your account, or would like to comment on our books or our service, please call us toll-free at (800)929-2929, fax us at (802)864-7626, or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
How soon will I get my order?
If you have requested normal delivery (USPS book rate service), you should expect to receive your order in 1-2 weeks. Rush shipping is available for an additional charge (see below).
What's the cost for shipping?
Unless otherwise requested, ALL orders within the United States are shipped FREE. Orders of less than ten books are shipped via United States Postal Service (USPS). Orders of 10+ books are shipped via UPS or FedEx Ground at no additional charge. Please allow 1 to 2 weeks for delivery.
What if I want to receive my order more quickly?
Rush shipping is also available by request for an additional charge. You can view applicable shipping rates from a pull-down menu during the ordering process to choose the method that best suits your needs.
Do I have to pay sales tax?
Orders shipped to California and Vermont must include applicable sales tax.
Can I order a product that's not available yet?
Yes. We will ship the book to you when it becomes available, and will charge your credit card at that time.
If you order more than one book at a time, we will immediately ship any books that are currently available, and send backordered books when they become available.
Backorders will not delay the rest of your order.
What type of payment do you accept?
For online orders we accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. For mail orders, we also accept checks and money orders.
All orders must be paid in U.S. dollars by credit card or by check or money order drawn on a U.S. bank.
What if I don't like a product I've ordered?
We want you to be completely satisfied in all your dealings with Berrett-Koehler. If you are not satisfied with your Berrett-Koehler purchase for any reason, just return it to us within 30 days of purchase for a refund. Please send returns, via a traceable shipping method, to:

Can I place an order from outside the U.S.?
To order books outside the U.S., please go to the section on foreign distributors to find the distributor that serves your part of the world.
Is it safe to use my credit card for online orders?
Our server supports secure transactions so you can use your credit card with confidence.
If your Internet access does not support secure transactions, you have the option to use our non-secure server to submit your order.
In that case, you'll want to play it safe and leave the credit card section blank, and we'll call you for that information.
Can I order by telephone?
Sure. From within the United States, you can call us at 800-929-2929 (8 am to 9 pm Eastern Standard Time, weekdays). Outside the U.S., please see the section on foreign distributors to find a distributor that serves your part of the world.
Can I mail in an order?
Yes. If you order by mail, you can pay with check, money order, or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express). If you use a credit card, please be sure to include the name as it appears on the card, the card's number, and its expiration date.

Every book on our web site has a link that reads “Professors: Request an exam copy” located to the lower right of the book cover. Just click on that link and you can order your exam copy. You can also call 800-929-2929 or fax a request on department letterhead to (802)864-7626.
